Joint Venture Focuses on Stevia

GLG Life Tech Corporation, and Weider Global Nutrition, Salt Lake City, UT, have entered a joint venture a­greement called Sweet Naturals Corp., which is dedicated to the sale of dietary and tabletop supplements containing various GLG stevia products. Key offerings will be high quality stevia extract, including Rebpure, an industrial powder with 97% pure Rebaudioside A. According to the agreement, GLG will own a controlling interest of 55% of the venture and WGN 45%, with GLG holding three positions on the board and WGN two.
